Come along and join us in the evening for the Beacon Lighting on the seafront, one of more than 1,500 that will be lit to celebrate this unique milestone.

Weather permitting, at 9.30pm the Piper will officially make this announcement with a unique Bugle Call especially written entitled 'Majesty', and Bersted Arts Choir will be performing singing a song that has been specially written for the occasion.  

To finish off this monumental event, there will be a firework display from the end of the Pier

This event may be subject to change and subject to ADC permission for land use.
