Arun District Council Budget Consultation for 2-26-2027

As the council starts to look ahead at setting budgets for the next financial year, they want to hear your views.
As a district council Arun's role is to make Arun a better place to live, work and visit as well as delivering public services.
Their resources remain stretched and will likely continue to be so, and they need to make sure that they allocate their money in the right places in order to provide essential services to the public. The budget is crucial in achieving this.
This year they are a launching a quick budget quiz to find out what you know and are also asking for your views on next year's budget via a public consultation. ADC won't be able to add significant amounts of money on extra day-to-day things, but are determined to maintain current service levels wherever possible.
The Arun District Council Vision 2022-2026 has four priorities, and the budget is developed to ensure funds are available and resources are committed to deliver these priorities:
- improving the wellbeing of Arun
- delivering the right homes in the right places
- supporting our environment to support us
- fulfilling Arun's economic potential
