New Mayor and Deputy for 2025/2026

At the Annual Town Council Meeting held on Monday 12th May 2025, Cllr. Mrs. Gill Yeates was elected as the new Mayor of Bognor Regis, taking over from the previous Mayor, Cllr. Miss. Claire Needs. The new Deputy Mayor is Cllr. Paul Wells.

Cllr. Mrs. Yeates was delighted to be appointed by her fellow Town Councillors, and is excited to serve the Town as Mayor this year, meeting the inspirational members of our community.

The Mayor's charities are Stonepillow and My Sisters’ House, and she hopes to raise funds for them throughout her term.

Also new in post, following Monday's Meeting, was First Cadet Harvey McGarhey, who will serve as Mayor's Cadet for the next twelve months, and was presented with a certificate from the Mayor and a Badge, in recognition of his new role.
