What a busy weekend of festivities it's been here in Bognor Regis...

Friday 25th November saw the 'Grand Opening' of the Ice Rink in London Road car park, by the Town Mayor, Vice-Chairman of ADC and Bognor Regis Town Crier! As well as ice skating, visitors can enjoy exploring the Funfair, buy some gifts from the Christmas huts, grab a snack at the German style swing grill and bar, enjoy a variety of children’s rides to suit all ages and much more! Here in Bognor Regis until 2nd January 2023, this ‘fun for all the family’ attraction, certainly adds some Christmas sparkle to the Town!

On Saturday 26th November Bognor Regis Town Council's 'Big Switch at 6' adorned the streets with this year's brand new Christmas illuminations! Festive fun included a Santa's grotto, live ice sculptures, hot chestnuts, stilt walkers, live music, fairground rides and so much more, all leading up to the big countdown! The lights were switched on by the cast of this year's 'Beauty and the Beast' Pantomime, coming soon to the Alexandra Theatre, accompanied by the Town Mayor and Town Crier!

And finishing off the weekend on Sunday 27th November, Bognor Regis Town Council held their annual Civic Service at The Salvation Army Church and Community Centre. Led by the Mayor's Chaplain, Major Matt Butler, the afternoon included wonderful performances from the South Bersted Children's Choir and readings from the Mayor and Mayoress, as well as music from The Salvation Army Band and a 'Nativity Scene'. With funds collected for the Mayor's chosen charities, Bognor Regis Foodbank and 4Sight Vision Support, the Service is held as a 'thank you' and is attended by invited local community organisations and charities, who do so much good work in Bognor Regis.

Here is a small selection of photos from a very 'Christmassy' weekend in Bognor Regis!...
