Mayor presents Cheque to Bognor Woodwork & Craft Club

On Thursday 27th October, the Mayor of Bognor Regis, Cllr. John Barrett was delighted to present a cheque to the Bognor Woodwork and Craft Club, following their application for a Flexible Community Fund award from the Town Council.
The award of £402 will help to support this community group to purchase PPE so that carpentry equipment can be used safely. 
The club meets at The Makerspace on Longford Road every Tuesday to Thursday from 10am to 1pm. Wood and tools are provided and you don't need to have any particular skills to attend. Everyone is welcome and, whilst there is the chance to hone your skills or learn new ones, the club provides an opportunity for anyone feeling isolated to meet new, like-minded people.
