New Mayor's Cadet Appointed

A new Mayor's Cadet was appointed at last night's Council Meeting by Deputy Mayor, Cllr John Barrett. AC Amy Wales was nominated for the role by Gary Edgington MBE, the Officer in Charge of Bognor Regis Sea Cadets. Recently promoted to Able Cadet, Amy has been awarded her Marksmanship qualification for exceptional shooting and confidently conducts her duties in the Unit.  A polite, well-mannered and caring individual, Amy has been a stalwart during lockdown, offering her support to younger Cadets. 

Outgoing Mayor's Cadet OC Luca Tanner, who has been in the role for over 18 months, was also present at the meeting to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Deputy Mayor. OC Tanner was thanked by Councillors for his immense service during this difficult period.

AC Amy Wales will be accompanying the Town Mayor, Cllr Steve Goodheart at various civic functions throughout the year.
