Cherry tomato / photo competition for Schools & Nurseries

Mayor of Bognor Regis, Cllr Stephen Reynolds, recently attended ABC Day Nursery to present their prize for winning the Bognor Regis In Bloom Cherry Tomato / photo competition for schools and nurseries.

 This competition was open to schools and nursery schools in the Town.  They were invited to grow cherry tomatoes from seeds and to record the growing process by taking a series of photographs.  Members of the In Bloom Working Group visited each of the schools in early July to judge each entry.  ABC Day Nursery scored highly, not just for the tomato plants, but also for the book they had created documenting the growing process.
