Bognor Regis in Bloom Annual Competition
Bognor Regis in Bloom holds its own annual competition to discover the Town's best floral displays. We look for gorgeous gardens, wonderful window boxes, beautiful business frontages, and verdant veg patches.
Who can enter?
The current categories
For 2024 there are seven categories, which include:
- Best kept front garden
- Best residential balcony, window box, hanging basket or container
- Best business frontage (to include window boxes, hanging baskets, etc.)
- Best neighbourhood, street, locality or resident's association, sheltered or residential accommodation
- Best sustainable and environmentally-friendly planting
- Best garden or vegetable plot designed and looked after by a child, up to and including 11 years of age
- Best vegetable plot at a school
Judging criteria
Our dedicated judges look for:
- Impact - is the planting right for the area?
- Care & Attention - are there any dead-heads, weeds, etc.?
- Horticultural Content - what is the mix and type of plants used?
- Environmental & Sustainable Content - is the entry eco-friendly or makes good use of eco-friendly products?
