Guides Planting Competition 2023

Congratulations to Amber from Bognor South Rangers who won this year’s Bognor Regis in Bloom ‘Guides Planting’ competition. Amber’s design – on the theme ‘The Coronation of King Charles III’ was chosen as the very deserving winner by In Bloom members, the former Mayor and our Town Force team.

Two Runners Up, Ava from 1^st Pagham & Aldwick Brownies and Tyger Beau from 2^nd Bersted Rainbows were selected from the numerous entries received in this year’s competition.

The new Deputy Mayor, Cllr Miss Claire Needs, along with In Bloom members, presented the girls with their prizes and certificates at an Awards Afternoon at the Mini Golf Course in Waterloo Square on Wednesday 28^th June.

You can see Amber’s beautiful design, brought to life in flowers, at the Golf Course throughout the summer.

Congratulations again to Amber, Ava and Tyger Beau and a big thank you to the Group Leaders and Girlguiding District Commissioner, for their support with this competition and also to Paul Tiernan at the Mini Golf Course for the ‘loan’ of his flower bed.
