West Sussex Crowd

Published: 24 April 2018

West Sussex Crowd is the new crowdfunding initiative which gives people the opportunity to run crowdfunding campaigns for local projects across West Sussex. The formal launch of this new initiative will be on Wednesday May 9th 2018, 5.30pm – 7.00pm at St Paul’s Worthing. A light buffet will be provided. We would love you to join us for this, to find out more about how crowdfunding works and to hear from successful crowdfunders. Click here to find out more the launch and to register to attend.

West Sussex County Council (WSCC) is the driving force behind this initiative and has a £330,000 Community Initiative Fund (CIF) for projects running crowdfunding campaigns. This replaces the way that the County Council has allocated its grant funding in previous years. Spacehive is the crowdfunding platform which WSCC has chosen to partner with for this initiative. The West Sussex Crowd is now live! Visit the site here to find out more about to how to get started, including how to access our Community Initiative Fund, and follow the West Sussex Crowd page to keep up to date with the latest information.
